This is a cool picture I found on the net of a magazine from the 70's.
I thought it was interesting how the issue of women who "throw themselves away" was present even more than thirty years ago...!
It should really make us, women as a group, think.
Going through some research, I came up with a 29 year-old german photographer and graphic designer. Her name is Ivonne Thein (above), the creator of the exhibition "Thirty-two Kilos", a collection of about twelve photographs depicting non-professional models with anorexic bodies.
The starved bodies are put into high fashion poses in order to provoke the fashion industry.
The picture above is the ad for No-Lita by Oliviero Toscani who clearly influenced Ivonne Thein's work. In fact, the idea of name of the exhibition "Thirty-two kilos" came from the french actress/model who posed for No-Lita who weighed 32 Kg.
The goal of this project was to analyze the past F/W 08/09 trends and make a forecast of trends that will be present in the F/W 09/10 collection. The brand I chose is Miss Sixty.
This is an i-D magazine cover I made by taking two editorials from the original magazine using them as cover. The 2007 Edition was about rebellion and punk, for this reason I thought the original cover featuring Kate Moss was completely inappropriate and needed some change.
Above are a few pictures of some of Banksy's street art works, situated in corners in East London. Banksy has yet never appeared in public, nobody ever saw him even do his works.
